ThrottleNet created an entire online management system for the food distribution industry. 

This system allows the company that employs it to:

• Receive the purchase into inventory.
• Create sales orders against the inventory.
• Ship the product out.

With this system, the user is aware of inventory levels, minute costs and margins as they were creating each new order. Every transaction in the system adjusts the inventory in real time. On-demand reports are available to track key performance indications. The system handles every aspect of the order process from broker management to custom repacking processes. The system also handles importing data into an off-the-shelf accounting package. 

A wireless component was also created for warehouse workers to manage inventory without having to be physically at a computer terminal.  Being Web-based, the system offers the suite of management tools to staff around the world and minimized maintenance costs.
